    Nice with QC issues

    Benchmade makes quality knives. With that being said I was disappointed at how sharp they come from factory. I have 6 Benchmade some are ok some I resharpened myself. In doing so the 2 I have done the grind is pretty poor on those knives. I expect better quality from Benchmade for the price. Spyderco is razor sharp from factory and I have yet to find a grind issues with them and I have over 40. Everyone makes a bad one now and then but 2 different Benchmade same issue is more then a coincidence. Not trying to deter anyone as they are still a very nice knife. I will be much more selective in my Benchmade ventures though.

    I would consider this my Grail Knife. That perfect combination of size, strength, blade shape, steel and materials and construction. I have several Benchmade knives from the 980 Turret to a Volli to a 943 Osbourne and this one is right there in that sweet spot. As always REC is the Best. Great selection and great employees. If your in the Columbus Ohio area, stop in.

    Awesome knife! great size for EDC upgrade to CruWear is a great move by Benchmade fit and finish / QC was spot-on; blade was centered, solid lock up and great action out of the box Great customer service from REC and super quick shipping. Thanks REC!
