Berg Blades Barber V2 Frame Lock
The Barber V2 from Berg Blades is a limited-run frame lock folder built for collectors, EDC enthusiasts, and anyone who wants a striking cleaver-style profile with refined, lighter construction. This knife features a 2.9-inch MagnaCut blade at 0.125 inches thick with a hollow grind that tapers very thin behind the edge, delivering a clean, slicey cutting profile. At 7.75 inches overall and 3.74 ounces, the Barber V2 is slimmer and lighter than its predecessor, with weight reduction throughout the handles. Each variation is a limited run of 50, numbered inside the backspacer.
The titanium handles carry textured scales and a frame lock with a steel lockbar insert, giving the knife a rigid, heavy-duty lockup that stays solid under hard use. The frame lock delivers a crisp, snappy detent and a firm mechanical feel when it fires open, and the harder you grip the handle, the more the lockbar reinforces itself. Compared to the original button lock Barber, the V2 trades a plunge-style action for a more rigid, zero-play lockup, while the frame lock's cutout breaks up the clip-side scale. MagnaCut steel holds a fine edge and resists corrosion, making the Barber V2 a refined, numbered folder for those who want the Barber's distinctive profile in a thinner, lighter package.
