Knafs Yuti Utility Knife
The Yuti from Knafs is a slim utility folder built for tradespeople, weekend DIYers, and anyone who wants a pocket-friendly tool that can handle a hard day's work—designed for the sparky, the foreman, and the crew that spends its days on the jobsite. This folder features a 2.03-inch utility blade with a flat grind and satin finish, hardened to 59-60 HRC. At 6.14 inches overall, 3.33 inches closed, and 2.3 ounces, the Yuti stays slim and comfortable to carry every day.
The utility blade is designed for replaceable service. When an edge dulls or a tip breaks mid-job, a fresh blade costs about 15 cents and swaps in quickly, so you can get back to work without fuss. The G-10 handle is paired with a crossbar lock for secure blade retention, ball bearings support smooth action, and a thumb stud provides one-handed opening. The reversible deep carry clip, made of 2Cr13 steel, accommodates left- or right-side carry. Developed with input from general contractor Zack, who carries a utility blade daily, the Yuti was refined through several rounds of prototyping until it earned his approval on the job.
