The Wind Runner XL Snake River Edition is a re-worked version of a classic TOPS hunting knife. This new version sports our Grey Tungsten Wash with green canvas Micarta handles to provide grip even when they're wet. This is the larger of the two Wind Runners and it is a great all-around hunting knife. Every detail about the blade was incorporated to make processing of animals easy. The subdued tip allows the user to skin without worrying about puncturing the hide. The recurve and sweeping belly are ideal slashing tasks for gutting, skinning, and caping. The high grind on the thick stock make it strong, but with a very sharp edge. The handle is comfortable in standard hunting grips and the green canvas Micarta will help the user keep that grip even when it's wet (a must when processing game). The Kydex sheath provides excellent retention and a low-profile carry option. This is a knife you will be proud to own.
