Spyderco Balance
Custom knifemaker Ed Schempp designed the Balance as a study in symmetry that achieves perfect equilibrium when closed and exceptional ergonomics when open. Originally introduced in 2010 and later discontinued, this remarkable design returns as a limited Sprint Run. Downturned blade gets full-flat grind from proprietary CPM SPY27 stainless steel with generous index-finger choil for exceptional control. Satin-finished blade pairs with a unique asymmetrical handle featuring stainless steel scale on one side and stainless liner with peel-ply G-10 on the other. Precision-machined stainless scale creates sturdy Reeve Integral Lock mechanism. Cobalt blue G-10 represents the signature CPM SPY27 family colors. Reversible stainless steel pocket clip mounts for left or right-side tip-up carry.
