Designed by Spyderco co-founder and Blade Magazine Hall of Fame® member Sal Glesser, the Bodacious™ takes its name from a legendary American bucking bull. Inspired by that animal's strength and indomitable spirit, with sturdy construction for unfailing reliability. This expression features a blade in CPM® SPY27® stainless steel exclusive to Spyderco. Elite steel contains a proprietary alloy mix including vanadium, molybdenum, niobium, and nitrogen. Advanced formula amplified by signature cobalt element and Crucible Particle Metallurgy process for excellent toughness, corrosion resistance, and edge retention. Leaf-shaped, PlainEdge™ blade features full-flat grind and satin finish for low-friction cutting performance. Skeletonized stainless steel liners nested in smooth cobalt blue G-10 scales provide impressive structural strength and form the foundation of the high-strength Compression Lock® mechanism. Broad-based pocket clip is reversible for left or right-side tip-up carry.
