The reason I’m giving this 5 stars isn’t because it competes with the Hinderers and Chris Reeve’s of the knife world, but because it’s a carbon fiber, D2 steel knife that runs on bearings for $45. The action is smooth, the fit & finish of my particular knife was stellar, it’s long but not unwieldy and carries light in the pocket. The only con I can think of, is I wish the scales were flush with the liners. The steel liners can cause a hotspot when using the knife. Also, in my opinion, the lanyard hole placement is quite clever and convenient. Lanyards usually get in the way, but a lanyard on this doesn’t. I wish more makers would do it like this. All in all, I’d definitely recommend this knife for anyone, especially someone with a budget who wants a nice knife that does the job it’s supposed to.
