The Gen 6 "Skinny" Version of the XM-18 is slimmed down from the standard for lighter weight, slimmer profile and enhanced cutting performance. It was designed to fit most hands comfortably and has a reasonable blade size to handle most any task. This 3.5" model has a blade thickness of 0.136"and a handle thickness of 0.450", making it a perfect, hard-use design for EDC. The oversized choil permits choking up on the blade for more precise work. Hinderer's Gen 6 enhances the standard formula with the addition of the Tri-Way Pivot System. The system allows the use of bearings, phosphor bronze washers, or teflon washers in the pivot depending on preference.
The lockside is precision CNC manufactured from 6AL4V titanium featuring the patented Hinderer Lockbar Stabilizer. The knife can be set up for either tip-up or tip-down carry. The non-lock side has a .050" titanium liner with a G10 handle scale.
