    Hogue Deka Magnacut

Posted by Marc Reech on 26th Feb 2023

It's Hogue, so the the quality is top notch. It's Magnacut, so it's sharp as the dickens & easy to care for. For a Magnacut knife from a qua!ity manufacturer, it's unbeatable...despite the polymer scales (which are stiffer than I anticipated...). New OG aluminum scales and it's absolutely fabulous.

    Another Excellent Knife From Hogue

Posted by Ben Simon on 4th Jul 2022

Once again, REC comes through with unbelievably fast shipping. The knife itself is incredible. Very smooth action and the Hogue able lock is one of the best crossbar locks in the business. I can't complain at all. One possible sticking point for some people might be the FRN scales. Hogue does a decent job on them, but I can see some people might thing they are going to feel cheap. I think they are fine. The fit and finish is excellent and the Magnacut is razor sharp out of the box. I have already put this knife through some good action, and I haven't had to sharpen it yet. I think it is an excellent entry level option to get into this "new" knife steel. Hogue knocked it out of the park. And if people don't like the scales, I am sure there are aftermarket ones out there. Honestly, for the money, you can't go wrong with this choice.
